Southeast Road Trip - Featuring Indy

Much of travel requires flexibility. It is the adventure which is not part of "the plan." As this trip unfolded from MN to NC and return, a stop in IN to be with family was opportune.

A half time highlight of a dog doing a dunk at the Pacer's season opener.

A beautiful view of Pilot's Knob heading north toward the West Virgina Turnpike.

The best being the "Lance in the Pants" truck as seen heading into Indiana.

A true NC State store in Chapel Hill.

A fun ride in Durham NC to support Habitat for Humanity.

Gophers Trampled by Bison

By this time you are probably aware of the North Dakota State University victory over the sad and hapless University of Minnesota football team. We were about to be among the 20,000 NoDakStateU Bison fans who came into "The Cities" for the game. Imagine hearing 20,000 folks all sounding as if they were in out takes from "Fargo". We were amazed.

The accents plus the really excellent (or in Minnesotan.."pretty good") attitudes and not to mention but I must...the head gear made it a pretty darned good day.
The Minnesota "Marching Gophers" put on a great show but depending on which side you were on the "M" looked much like a "W".
